HLE supports renewable energy plants with a vast array of services in the field and from our production facility. We are focused on helping our customers become more efficient using valued engineering principles.
We are able to take a concept, run digital prototyping with 3d modelling, attend site with a laser scanner to do survey work and bring our knowledge and expertise back to the client as to offer our insights to given challenges.
Our site based mechanical engineers and high spec welders provide emergency breakdown support getting you back up and running limiting downtime to a minimum. HLE holds multiple weld procedures covering a wide range of materials and welding practices to ensure we can cover all eventualities. We have even our own orbital welding equipment in our works to offer the highest level of quality control which is expected by our clients.
We are currently involved with EDF Energy trailing new concepts by offering bespoke external wind turbine transformer kiosks and wind turbine internal modifications which will extend the life of the old HV transformers and in turn extending the life of the wind turbine.
We pride ourselves on system design helping to convey products in the most efficient routes whilst minimising materials, labour and a reduction in friction and unnecessary wear in pipelines. Using our design team with inhouse 3D CAD modeling we can visualise the project and issue real time accurate drawings to ensure our engineering is as accurate as possible. All our designs are fabricated in house and fitted onsite by our mechanical engineering team.
HLE also offers the design, manufacture and installation of structural steel work such as new portal frame buildings, access solutions to digestor tanks and other high level equipment.
Health & Safety is at the forefront of our priority, all of our onsite engineers are fully trained and hold the relevant qualifications needed to ensure a high quality workmanship and onsite safety is achieved throughout all our projects.
HLE have gained accreditation to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & BS1090 Ex Class 3 – CE Marking to ensure our clients can rest assured the services & products we offer are of the highest standard.
